Triotherm+ Pre-Wall Window Installation System Now Available from Affixit
Affixit is pleased to introduce the Triotherm+ Pre-Wall Window Installation System – a thermally efficient, load-bearing solution for positioning windows and doors within the building's insulation layer.
As insulation levels increase, the position of the window or door within the wall construction becomes increasingly important. Installing a high-performance window alone does not guarantee a high-performance junction; heat can still bypass the insulation through poorly detailed connections around the structural opening.
What is Triotherm+? 
Triotherm+ uses structural profiles to create a defined installation frame outside the load-bearing wall. This allows windows and doors to be positioned further into the insulation zone rather than being restricted to the face of the structural opening.
The result is improved continuity between the window or door frame and the surrounding insulation, helping to reduce thermal bridging around the perimeter of the opening.
Designed as a Complete Installation System
Triotherm+ is more than the profile itself. The installation system includes the Triotherm+ profiles, Hybrid Polymer Power Fix adhesive/sealant and FK-T30 Frame Fixing Screws.
The correct FK-T30 screw length is selected according to both the Triotherm+ profile depth and the load-bearing substrate. Affixit has therefore introduced the FK-T30 screws in convenient packs of 10, together with a fixing selection guide to help customers identify the appropriate length for their installation.

More Than Thermal Performance
