Triotherm+ FK-T30 Frame Fixing Screws
FK-T30 Frame Fixing Screws are the specified force-transmitting mechanical fixings used to secure Triotherm+ profiles to the load-bearing substrate. Supplied by Affixit in convenient packs of 10, they are available in a range of lengths to suit different Triotherm+ profile depths and wall constructions.
The FK-T30 forms part of the tested Triotherm+ Pre-Wall Installation System. To maintain an installation corresponding with the tested system configuration, the specified system components and installation requirements should be followed. Substituting alternative fixings may mean the installation no longer corresponds with the tested Triotherm+ system configuration.
Selecting the Correct FK-T30 Screw Length
The correct screw length depends on both the Triotherm+ profile depth and the load-bearing substrate. Different substrates require different minimum screw-in depths, so the required screw length cannot be determined from the Triotherm+ profile size alone.
Suitable substrates covered by the Triotherm+ installation guidance include concrete, sand-lime brick, vertically perforated brick, aerated concrete, timber, lightweight concrete and steel.

How Many FK-T30 Fixing Screws Do I Need?
The number of fixing screws required depends on the dimensions and configuration of the structural opening. Fixing positions and maximum permitted spacing must follow the Triotherm+ installation instructions.

Part of the Triotherm+ Installation System
FK-T30 screws provide the mechanical fixing between the Triotherm+ profile and the load-bearing substrate. Installation also requires Triotherm+ Hybrid Polymer Power Fix adhesive/sealant, which is applied between the profile and substrate.
Triotherm+ profiles and Hybrid Polymer Power Fix are sold separately.
