Air Tight Tape

A range of specialist tapes that are used to seal joints within the building envelope (sealing vapour barriers, sheathing boards, breather membranes, window connections & service penetrations). They maintain airtightness and in doing so improve energy efficiency in the built environment.

Airtightness tapes can be diffusion-open or diffusion-closed. Whilst both remain airtight the key difference is the ability for water vapour to pass through the tape, known as vapor permeability (Sd value), these tapes allow internal moisture to move outwards.
