A specially formulated, polyvinyl chloride closed cell foam with enhanced
surface layer protection. Used widely in joist, stud and beam taping to assist
acoustic isolation and overcome cold bridging. Coated with a pressure
sensitive adhesive on one side, and a durable surface on the upper surface to
enable smooth installation. Does not mould or mildew and can help prevent
condensation by temperature differentials. It also helps eliminate “ghosting”
stains in steel studwork constructions.
