Also known as Polyimide Masking Tape this masking tape offers great value and performance in electrical & thermal insulation with a continuous service temperature range of -70° to +260° (+315° Short Term). The highly crosslinked adhesive is well anchored to the polyimide film which eliminates squeeze out/legging and provides clean removal on high temperature masking applications.This high temperature masking tape is ideal for wave soldering, insulating circuit boards, high temperature powder coating, it also has a high dielectric strength.The extreme temperature resistance of the polyimide film, and silicone adhesive system work well to protect the gold 'fingers' on the edges of printed circuit boards, during the wave soldering process.
